Later this school year, we will be replacing the text message alert system used by the school. This is used to let you know about snow days and other emergencies.
If you wish to be on the new system, let us know your cell phone number with this form. Additional information will be available as we get closer to the switch-over.
Note: If your phone service charges for text messages, those charges will still apply.
If you're using a Mac and it asks you for the password to a "keychain" at times, you should read this for a fix.
If you're about to graduate, you might want to download a copy of your Google Docs to take with you. Directions can be found at the C-D Tech Tips blog.
Today we have added a link to OverDrive. You can use OverDrive to read eBooks and hear Audiobooks. This service is free to Cairo-Durham students, faculty and staff. Please see Mrs. Pine (MS/HS Media Center) for your username and password. Books can be downloaded to your computer, nook, Kindle, phone, tablet, or other devices.
There will be no Internet access in the district on Saturday, September 25, 2010. Our ISP will be performing maintenance that day.
The MS/HS faculty and staff server will be offline for upgrades during all of Friday, 7/23/10.
The Transportation Department server will be offline for upgrades during parts of Thursday, 7/22/10 and Friday, 7/23/10.
During these outages, access to Email, PowerSchool, etc. will still be available from outside of the district.
After several software upgrades and configuration adjustments, the web proxy is now running with antivirus protections again. In addition, a change in the way the proxy accesses the antivirus system was made. This should improve stability in the long term.
Everything should be stable at this time. Thank you for your patience.
